In this section we give you some advices for better maintenance.

Si fas això ja portes algun tipus de sellador en les teves cobertes clàssiques. Si fa temps que rodes amb aquest sistema, probablement ja has descobert que la majoria de selladors acaben deteriorant l' interior de la teva coberta i tornant-la més fràgil. A més, són cars i estan pensats perquè compris kits especials de muntatge -que nosaltres no et recomanem.
ZEROFLATS és una formulació amb nanocàpsules de làtex, suau amb les teves cobertes però implacable amb forats i petits talls. Hem fet un esforç per fer-ho molt accessible de preu perquè creiem que aquest sistema ha de ser competitiu amb les càmeres tradicionals, i no amb els sistemes tubeless. Trobaràs que la nostra proposta és millor que les altres en qualitat, fiabilitat i servei.

Stability test
It is better you use the tires we recommend, but in any case, there is a way to know if your rim and tire combination is secure: After inflating it to 45 psi. (3Kg.) place it on the floor. If it doesn’t explode in 2 hours, decrease the air pressure and let’s ride. The tires don’t stand this test shouldn’t be used with ZEROFLATS.
Never ride with a new rim and tire combination without triying first this test!

Recommended tires
Not all standard tire and tubeless rim combinations work. It is very important choose tires that have a resistant Kevlar band.
Unfortunately producers don’t give information on this issue. But you can use this guide:
• Tires with metallic wire bead – the cheapest of each version-> OK all brands and models.
They are a little bit heavier (over 500 gr. in comparison with the Kevlar wire ones) and the rubber is not much quality but if you mount them without inner tube this fact greatly reduces the weight. This is a great way to test new tires without a big investment.
• Tubeless tires-> OK all brands and models.
• “Tubeless ready” tires-> OK all brands and models.
Lately “tubeless ready” tires have appeared in the market. These are very good when used with ZEROFLATS and all work very well. Choose the models you like the best. They are not as heavy as the tubeless, but they need a sealant liquid because they are not watertight when you buy them.
• Standard tires (not tubeless) mounted without inner tubes: a test is required.
Some brands use Kevlar beads so thin that they don’t permit assembly without inner tube: they could unseat during use. VERY DANGEROUS! See our “disclaimer”.

Why is different when I mount an inner tube?
The inner tube excerts pressure in all directions, so it pressures the bead of the tire against the rim creating an additional friction which holds the tire in position. Without this friction, the Klevar wire and the tire are the parts which do all the work. Because of this we do not recommend that you transform your tubeless rim with a kit: the rim bead must have the correct form to hold the tire… or the tire will jump from the rim with a spectacular explosion.

Additional precautions
Pay attention to your eyes and clothes: ZEROFLATS contains ammoniac, although not in high concentration, can produce eye irritation. Always you’re your bike glasses to protect your eyes. If you get any fluid in your eyes, wash them with clean water. ZEROFLATS is water soluble, and will wash out with no problem, if you don’t let it dry. If you are latex allergic, you will need to arrange for a colleague do it for you, and later buy him a beer!
